"Goosheh-Neshin (Isolated Corner Piece)" is a small corner sculpture influenced by the form of muqarnas (Persian ornamental vault).
Gooshe-neshin, meaning sat in a corner, also means isolation in Farsi. A poem by Saadi (a famous Persian poet) is written on this sculpture in Kufic script. This combination refers to the meditative process of creating the sculpture out of simple geometric forms based on Persian geometric patterns.
